Are you looking for the CrewBrain time clock and want to know how to track your working hours or where to find the app? Or do you want to set up a central time clock for your staff? Here we explain step by step how time tracking works with CrewBrain.
The Time Clock in the CrewBrain App
The CrewBrain time tracking feature is directly integrated into the CrewBrain app. The app is primarily aimed at end users, meaning employees who want to conveniently record their hours on the go using their smartphone.
You can find the app in the:
- Apple App Store (for iPhone)
- Google Play Store (for Android)
Simply click the respective link above or open the store and search for “CrewBrain” to download the app.
How to Use the Time Clock in the CrewBrain App
The digital time clock is directly linked to your assignments. This means:
- You log in to the app.
- You navigate to the time clock (bottom menu bar).
- If you are booked for a job, it will already be preselected.
- You start your working time by clicking on “Start”.
- At the end of your assignment, you stop the time.
Depending on your company settings, you can:
- Start/stop times live
- Manually enter/edit times later
- Record breaks
- Add comments
By the way: If you are ever offline, your time will still be saved and automatically synchronized as soon as you are back online.
The Central Time Clock in Your Company
With CrewBrain, you get a flexible solution that also allows you to set up a central time clock, e.g., at the entrance of your building, making it quick and easy to clock in using a staff number or RFID chip. The easiest way is to use an Android tablet and download the CrewBrain Time Clock App from the Google Play Store. To make the central time clock RFID-compatible, you will also need an RFID reader – you can find all relevant information in our Wiki. For advice on this, please contact our support team.
The Time Clock in the Desktop Version
The time clock is also easy to find in the menu on the left side of the desktop version. Simply log in to your CrewBrain account in your browser as usual. Here you can use the time clock just like in the app.
Typically, the time clock in the desktop version is suitable for administrative staff in the office.
Note: If you cannot find the time clock icon in the desktop version, please contact the responsible person in your company. Access to the different time clock variants can be assigned individually by the responsible person.
