CrewBrain at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt

Last week, we took part in the Prolight + Sound trade fair in Frankfurt. While the event celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, it marked our sixth participation since 2017.

Our booth

As in the past two years, we were once again located in Hall 12.0 – alongside many manufacturers of lighting and stage equipment as well as the majority of our integration partners such as Easyjob, IntelliEvent, and HireHop.

Our booth was situated right next to that of our interface partner Eventworx, allowing us to coordinate the booth setup together as we’ve done in previous years. This enabled us to build a larger booth than we typically have at other trade shows.

The conversations

The trade fair gave us the opportunity to have many interesting conversations with existing clients, but especially with new prospects. The event serves as a platform for international exchange, and we were able to speak with visitors from a total of 21 countries at our booth.

One of the great things about Prolight + Sound is that, for many companies, it has become something of a “company outing” over the years. As a result, not only the decision-makers attend, but also those who later use CrewBrain as dispatchers, staff, or freelancers – making it the perfect opportunity for us to provide an in-depth presentation of the system.

The prize draw

Even before the event, we launched a giveaway on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for a Thon Whiskey Case. Those who wanted to increase their chances of winning could post a selfie from our booth. The giveaway is still running on Facebook and Instagram until April 16, 2025.

Our conclusion

Although the trade fair has become significantly smaller in recent years, it still represents an important part of our trade show calendar. The opportunity to connect not only with decision-makers but especially with the actual users of our software is almost unique in today’s trade fair landscape. We’re already looking forward to the next edition of Prolight + Sound next year.

But of course, we won’t be idle until then: after the summer trade show break, we’ll be heading to LEaTcon in Hamburg from October 14–16, 2025. As in previous years, we’ll then wrap up the year with LDI in Las Vegas from December 7–9, 2025.
