Introducing: the new CrewBrain app

CrewBrain has grown steadily over the past few years. In the many conversations we regularly have with our clients, we receive a lot of positive feedback. At the same time, however, we keep hearing one request: a native app for CrewBrain.

Today I am pleased to present the first version of our native CrewBrain app for Android and iOS. Both apps can be obtained through the familiar channels in the Google PlayStore as well as the Apple AppStore.

In its first version, the app is initially aimed primarily at employees and offers many interesting features such as push notifications and offline time recording, which I will discuss in more detail below.

Push-Notifications If employees use the CrewBrain app on their smartphone, all notifications are automatically sent to the employee's smartphone as push notifications as well. This way, employees are informed even faster about changes in workforce planning.

Offline time recording The time clock in the CrewBrain app is also available in offline mode. This allows employees to participate in time recording even if they are in an area or territory without reception or Internet access. The working hours are then synchronized as soon as the app detects an active internet connection again.

Multi-company capability Freelancers in particular often work for more than one company and therefore have multiple CrewBrain accounts. The CrewBrain app can be linked to multiple companies via the "More" page and the "Companies" menu item there, and then also shows the upcoming jobs and appointments of all companies in the dashboard, for example.

Admin and scheduler features At the moment, we are primarily targeting employees with the app. For this reason, it is not yet possible to create jobs or schedule staff, for example. The CrewBrain web app, which is still available, should be used for this. However, the native app will be expanded in the coming weeks and months to include all the functions that are already known from the WebApp.

Install now Our new app can now be obtained from the Google PlayStore as well as the Apple AppStore.
